Marketing With Facebook Fan Pages Part 3

If you want to attract more buyers and turn them into paying clients - you have to prove you are better than the competition. Agreed?

Now if YOU say you’re great, I may doubt it. If another person tells me you’re great, that’s more believable.  And if 10 or 20 people say you’re great?  I’m a believer!

You need to get testimonials that are believable.  A trustworthy testimonial includes the full name and photograph of the person giving you an endorsement. Luck for you, Facebook makes this really easy … in this video I’ll show you how to get your customers to join your Facebook Fan Page and leave a great review that will impress your prospective buyer.

If you happen to be reading this after Thanksgiving (or you’re not in the US) just send a nice card - maybe a “Thinking Of You” or “Thank You” card.

  1. One of the things that I find brands are doing wrong is that they are getting a lot of new fans through lots of innovative ways but they are not converting them in to paying customers. There is no point having 10 fans if you are just going to leave them there and feed them links from your blog through an RSS plugin. Engaging with the fans is the key in my opinion!

  2. Niall - Well said! Just because it is possible to re-purpose Tweets, Blogs and other streams on to Facebook doesn’t mean you should. We seem to lose sight of the fact that we’re trying to have an interesting conversation. No smart person would ever do such boorish things at a party (like egocentric sales pitches and transparent attempts to build status) - but I’ve done it myself online. It’s very easy to forget that a real person in on the other side. Thanks Niall - hope all’s well in Dublin.
